Hi, I'm Yufei!
I am current a research assistant at UNC Chapel Hill Peifer Lab, where I use microscopes to look at mechanics of tissue shape change. I previously studied computational and mathematical modeling at Minerva University.
I am interested in the intersection of biophysics and modeling (CV here). My bachelor thesis studies condensation through signaling gradients in animal groups (manuscript here).
I draw. I hope to use diagramming, animation and interactive simulations to accompany my research. (see Shapes projects).
